Shakti Gov. App
The Shakti App has been developed by the Women and Child Development Department, Chhindwara, under the guidance of the Collector and in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC). The app is a key initiative of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Mission Shakti schemes, aimed at enhancing the well-being of children, adolescents, and women in the region. The app serves as a comprehensive platform for delivering essential services and government schemes related to health, nutrition, safetyand empowerment.

Project Overview

Problems it is Solving:
- Limited Access to Government Services:Women and children in rural and remote areas often face challenges accessing government schemes and services related to health, safety and nutrition.
- Lack of Awareness:There is limited awareness about available welfare schemes, leading to underutilization of government initiatives designed to support women and children.
- Inefficient Information Delivery:Traditional methods of delivering information about schemes are slow and often not accessible, especially for marginalized communities.
- Safety Concerns:Women and children face rising safety concerns and there is a need for easy access to safety and emergency-related services.
Solution:
The Shakti App provides a centralized digital platform to:
- Facilitate Access to Government Schemes: The app helps women, children and adolescents access and apply for government welfare schemes related to health, nutrition, safety and education.
- Promote Awareness:It provides clear and up-to-date information on the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Mission Shakti schemes, ensuring that women and children know about the services available to them.
- Enhance Health and Safety:The app offers features that ensure women and children are informed about health services, nutritional support, and safety measures.
- Empowerment & Support:It empowers users by giving them direct access to resources, helplines and safety features, helping them navigate daily challenges with ease.
